I agree with many plugins, they are really useful !d

PD: why you didn't linked the plugins titles with his respective download page ?

Steve All these plugins are very useful even I know some more plugins i.e.

WP-Clickmap – Clickmaps let you see your site from a usability perspective. Your clickmaps show literally every click a user makes on a particular page. Every click is loaded into the database and over time a visual representation of collective clicks gives you an overview of the hotspots on the page.

Analytics360 – Analytics360 gives you an excellent view into your Google Analytics stats right from your WordPress Dashboard.

Clean WordPress Plugin – This plugin replaces special characters in WordPress title, excerpt, content and comments. The plugin works with the default WordPress editor

CForms II and CommentLuv are definites for me whenever I start a new blog.

    • http://www.tikoim.de/ Heiko

Great list. But sometimes there seem to be too many good plugins so that you end up with a Worspress OS that's hard to handle and that might slow down the site.
Actually a WP plugin that makes a real simple source code just like 'handmade-code' would be great.
But will definetly try some of the above. Bookmarked.

Great list of plugins! btw, by activating many plugins, will it make my blog slower?

    • http://www.appsolve.com Steven Fisher

Some of those plugins could have conflicts if their code isn't tested with other plugins. It is an open source community so it can happen. I wouldn't load too many plugins at once and also implement a few at a time to really tune them and see if they are right for you.

Great list of plugins -Thanks!!. I've just launched a new blog and while I had heard of a few of those I've come accross some new one's here.

I'll be sure to put some of those to good use. Thanks again :)

When I ended up with several plugins with overlapping functions, I did a bit of googling. I ended up replacing them, including All-in-One, with FV All-inOne. I wish I had their website to share with you. I'm now building inexpensive WP sites for businesses, so I needed to get my plugin list trimmed.

I love all in one seo. Easy to use and really helps your site in the rankings.

    • http://transcriptionsoftware.org Terry

I am just wondering if leaving comments in the spam folder (or wherever they are left) can hurt you from an seo viewpoint..I don't bother deleting them but should I ?I ask because one of the plug ins above does a sort of tidy up job on the data table for my blog(I am not techie, sorry)

    • http://www.appsolve.com Steven Fisher

It could hurt you from a view perspective because if all you include are spam comments with unnecessary links and those links are bad, that could hurt you.

    • http://transcriptionsoftware.org Terry

Thanks, I don't actually approve them..I just leave them there though rather than delete them as it allows me to keep an eye on link backs to my site..

This is a great list of wordpress plug ins, i would add just one and it is very important, moren so if you have 30 other plug ins. So what is this little gem WP DB backup it backs up your wordpress site and you can schedule how and when. No crashes and cold sweats anymore !
