Recently I had the opportunity to sit down with Mike Hollen and talk about nsMail, what it is and the changes that came with the improved Network Solutions brand. We talked about all areas of hosted email and some great improvements and new products coming in the future. The video of the interview is below:

      Recently transferred five domains and some with mail functionality to NS from Yahoo. On Yahoo, the Blackberry functionality was great (instantaneous) but the E-Mail client with Apple Mail and Entourage poor. After the transfer to NS the problem is reverse with up to a 15 minute delay for POP Mail onto Blackberry via my carrier T-Mobile. After spending hours with RIM, T-Mobile and NS I am only wiser to the point that RIM has only a few partners (Google, Yahoo, GoDaddy…) who use the Notification Technology by RIM, which is why the handheld device sees the mail faster than POP. When will NS work with Blackberry/RIM develop mail into a functioning handheld device and migrate away from the POP??? This has caused enormous frustration, so you can imagine how one exchange of mail with another account can take up to 30 minutes. There are no settings on the device or at T-Mobile to grab mail more frequently. Somebody help – please!!!
