Yesterday I was lucky to meet 40 enthusiastic small business owners members of the Calvert County Chamber Women to Women Networking Group. When the attendees introduced themselves it was amazing to see the range of businesses represented ( restaurants, dentists, business developers, web developers, designers, caterers, jewelers, artists, goat farmers…). The discussion was very interesting and the top topics were.
- Privacy concerns between Facebook profile and Facebook Pages
- Time to start their social media program
- Integrating social media into their email marketing
- How do you use Yelp?
- How to have conversations on Twitter
I am pretty sure I will get enough follow-up questions to judge if I have been successful
Here are some pictures taken at the event ( Thanks Susan MCquikin of Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland )
