Meet the Judges
To support the launch of the .CO domain globally and the contest they have put together a stellar group of judges to review the submissions. Here are a few from our stellar panel:
Network Solutions : CEO
Tim Kelly joined Network Solutions as President in April 2009. As Chief Executive Officer, Kelly provides the overall strategic direction for the company and its 900+ employees, who are focused on helping small businesses establish an online presence and market their products and services through the Internet. Tim brings strong marketing expertise, broad operational acumen, and deep experience around the customer, which makes him uniquely qualified to lead Network Solutions.
Prior to joining Network Solutions, Tim enjoyed a career that spanned twelve years with Sprint Corporation and Sprint/Nextel Corporation. In his most recent role as Chief Marketing Officer, he led all of the organization’s Marketing and Product initiatives. Prior to this role, he held the top post at several Sprint/Nextel Corporation and Sprint Corporation business units as President of Sprint Consumer Solutions – PCS, President Sprint Business, President Sprint Mass Markets, and President Customer Management.
Mr. Kelly received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Florida and his Master of Business Administration, Graduate Management Program, from Nova Southeast University.
Burson-Marsteller : Global Chief Digital Strategist
Erin is the Global Chief Digital Strategist for Burson-Marsteller, one of the world’s premier public relations and public affairs agencies. As such Erin advises the worlds leading companies on digital strategy, web communications, integrated marketing, social media, online advertising and general communications strategies. Additionally she is responsible for the global development of digital policies, products and services for the agency and clients. Erin’s client work has included such notable organizations as the United States Treasury Department, Transitions Optical, Hormel Foods, McDonald’s Corporation and Citibank. Erin has won more than 100 national digital awards and is a frequent guest speaker at digital marketing and communications conferences and events.
Dave McClure likes to hang out with entrepreneurs, and occasionally help or invest in their startups if they let him. Dave has been geeking out in Silicon Valley for over twenty years, and has worked with companies such as PayPal, Mint, Founders Fund, Facebook, LinkedIn, SlideShare, Twilio, Simply Hired, O’Reilly Media, Intel, & Microsoft. Many years ago he used to do real work like coding or marketing or running conferences, but these days he mostly does useless stuff like sending lots of email, blogging, and hanging out on Facebook and Twitter. Dave also likes to play ultimate frisbee when his knees don’t hurt.

Anthony is the President and Founder of Pappas Group, a full service creative agency in the Washington, DC area. Pappas Group builds brands that stand out, and works with clients such as Blackboard, Discovery Channel, Geico, Network Solutions, Toyota, Volkswagen Credit, and many others. Work produced by Anthony and his team has earned numerous ADDY Awards, American Graphic Design Awards, Webbys, Rebrand 100 honors, and Print Magazine Interactive Awards.
Prior to starting Pappas Group in 2003, Anthony held the position of Senior Vice President/Executive Creative Director of Proxicom’s Brand & Experience Group. During this seven-year tenure, he was responsible for leading, developing and executing creative strategy and interactive marketing/design initiatives for Proxicom’s global client roster. Anthony’s experience and knowledge has earned him a longstanding reputation as a branding expert; he is a frequent speaker on the topic.
