5/5/11 8:15 AM UPDATE! THIS CONTINUES UNTIL WE REACH $1000 TO MATCH! ONLY $200 LEFT TO GO!

On May 4th Network Solutions is proud to participate in the NextGen Tech Women Fundraiser, a crowd-sourced online campaign to support the National Center for Women in Technology. To date the campaign has raised $2,200 and it’s our pledge to match the next $1,000 raised – pushing the bar to $4,200! Please join us in our efforts by sharing this post, tweeting our message, and pledging your own donation to this worthy cause.

This particular funding will support the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing which honors young women in high-school for their achievements in the computing field. Awardees are selected for their “computing and IT aptitude, leadership ability, academic history, and plans for post-secondary education.” Learn more about this on this and their work at http://www.ncwit.org/work.awards.aspiration.html.
