Have you dabbled in social media and know it’s important, yet can’t quite grasp how or why? Women Grow Business, a blog community of female business owners and entrepreneurs powered by Network Solutions, invites you to join us for the second session in our “Pay It Forward” series: Content Creation and Optimization.

Register for Socialize Your Small Business: Content Creation and Optimization in Washington, United States on Eventbrite

While social media is becoming a more pervasive channel for small businesses to try to promote and engage their customers, there is still a lot of confusion and questions on how to best utilize this medium.  We want to help pay it forward by imparting relevant guidance and insight to women businesses on the benefits, tradeoffs and tools around social media and how it can support their efforts.

Our second event will be hosted on the morning of May 19th downtown Washington, DC by our sponsor, Steptoe & Johnson LLP. We encourage women business owners  - or those on the verge of starting their own business – who are seeking guidance on how to start or optimize their social media presence to attend.

For our second event in the Pay It Forward series, we are honored to have Tinu Abayomi-Paul. Tinu is a website promotion specialist who sits on Network Solutions Social Media Advisory Board.  She guides entrepreneurs and local business owners through the process of generating leads and sales for their business both on and offline. Tinu has written several multimedia guides to Social Media Strategy, Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon and Facebook, and has also authored one of the first ebooks on using Facebook for Business in 2007. You’ll find her online at AskTinu.comFreeTrafficTip.com and LeveragedPromotion.com. You can reach her office toll-free at 855-227-5852, or write to her at t@leveragedpromotion.com.

Our social media team will be onsite to assist with hands-on tool techniques and answer any and all of your questions – please join us!

Event Details and RSVP are available on Eventbrite. You can also find the event on Facebook to share with your friends and see whom else is attending. To stay up to date with our Women Grown Business Community, find them on Facebook too!
