Every year 1,000s of technology companies head to the Interactive portion of South By Southwest (SXSW) to participate in what may be the world’s largest gathering of Technology and Digital Media folks.
As part of the Web.com and Network Solutions team, I will be joined by my colleague Sara Toole from our Jacksonville, FL, HQ. Along with learning from the panels and discussions on new trends and technology, attending this conference also gives us an opportunity to meet our peers, friends, and many small business thought leaders.
If you are at the conference, please look for Tinu Abayomi-Paul, editor of WomenGrowBusiness.com—a Web.com-supported women’s entrepreneur community—and a member of the Network Solutions Social Advisory Board. Also look for Steven Fisher, a former colleague and editor of our Solutions Are Power blog.
This list is not exhaustive, and I am writing this as I sit waiting for my flight. If you are going to be there, please let us know in the comments . . . and we look forward to saying hello.
We will be attending several after-hours events, including Tech Cocktail’s SXSW #StartupLife Celebration 2012 presented by .CO.
Our networking started at Reagan National Airport, where we met entrepreneur Barg Upender, founder of Mobomo, who is launching 98travels.com, and Rob Pegoraro, a tech columnist for USA Today and other national newspapers, who is on a panel at SXSW.
