Q:  How long will it take for my transfer request to be processed?

A:  Transferring to Network Solutions from another domain name service provider typically takes 5 to 7 days.Once you've submitted your request,Network Solutions sends an email message to the Administrative Contact listed in the current service provider's WHOIS to request authorization for the transfer.The Administrative Contact has 14 days to respond to the email message.Once the Administrative Contact authorizes the transfer, it takes 5 to 7 days to process the request. If the Administrative Contact doesn't authorize the request or doesn't respond within the allotted time, the transfer request is cancelled.

Transferring between Network Solutions accounts typically takes 1 to 2 days. Once you've submitted your request, Network Solutions sends an email message to the Primary Contact for that domain name requesting authorization for the transfer. The Primary Contact has up to 14 days to respond to the email message. Once the Primary Contact authorizes the transfer,it typically only takes a few hours for Network Solutions to complete the transfer.

You can check the status of your transfer request by logging in to Account Manager. Once you've logged in, click View Transfer Status on the left side of the screen.All transfer orders and domain names will be listed with a current status.Click on the status to access a detailed explanation.
