Making good on their promise to double U.S. exports over the next two years, the Obama administration has launched a new site to help small businesses get over their fear of exporting goods and services. Simply by guiding entrepreneurs through the process by providing self-assessments, training, business plans, market research and financing information, Export.gov hopes to take away the feeling of being overwhelmed by complicated rules and regulations. The site also shows small businesses how to find foreign buyers and where to find counseling programs for one on one assistance.
