In case you didn’t know, the 99ers are the nearly two million (estimated) Americans who lost their jobs and have run out of unemployment benefits. Radio talk-show host Nicole Sandler recently launched a website to help the 99ers get information, share their stories and connect to one another. At first glance you might not think such a site has any value to you as a business owner. But Sandler included several jobs forums: one for the 99ers to post their skills, and another where employers can post job openings. Sandler doesn’t verify the listings, so be cautious and check any potential employee carefully.
