SCORE, the nonprofit research partner of the Small Business Administration that offers mentoring and training to small business owners across the nation, has partnered with major corporations to offer men and women leaving the armed services the knowledge and skills to succeed as entrepreneurs. The Veteran Fast Launch initiative is a combination of training scholarships, free software and mentoring help from SCORE’s 13,000 volunteers. The program also offers Web-based workshops, tools, templates and white papers to help veterans succeed in their businesses. Veteran Fast Launch is free to active and former members of the military and their families.
