Your business plan should outline the route a company intends to take for the next three to five years and includes revenue projections, marketing strategies and more. The SBA’s Business Plan Tool provides the business owner with a step-by-step guide to get started. You can save your plan as a PDF and update it at any time. Then take your plan to a free mentor at one of the SBA’s partners (SCORE or a Small Business Development Center) to get one-on-one advice.
