As a small biz owner have to say that I don’t worry about the economy. We launched in 2009 and have had zero difficulty growing.. Perhaps these businesses that expect the economy to worsen should focus their energy on being the innovator in their respective Industry and focus on building great client experiences instead of hypothesizing about the future of the economy.

It’s not at all surprising that SMBs seem to be primarily concerned with technology. It can get complicated and employees have high expectations. What most SMBs don’t realize is there are a whole new crop of companies (SOLVco.com) who have made managing complex IT very very easy and inexpensive.

Last week on my Page I simply shared a photo of a stairwell in my building saying that I’m working on taking the stairs to my office as a good work habit and it got plenty of likes and comments. The photo told a story many of us can relate to.

While I agree with most points about the importance of technology to businesses we need to remember that it will never replace human beings. Many businesses go overboard in thinking that they can run the business solely on technology, but nothing can replace the human touch and decision making that only employees can provide. Yes, leverage technology where it makes sense, but don’t think that it can take place of all your employees.
