Installing Tracking Code for SEO Customers

Checking the Tracking Status

To enable reporting on the performance of their websites, our SEO for Ecommerce customers need to have the tracking code from Network Solutions® installed on their sites. The tracking code is a piece of JavaScript code that is placed on your website to collect information about the Internet traffic.

To check if the tracking code has already been installed on the homepage of your website:

  • Select your SEO for Ecommerce service in the online Account Manager and click View Full Reports.
  • Press the Tools tab at the top of the new browser window that opens.

  • The status information appears at the top of the page: "Tracking has been detected on your homepage" if the tracking code has been installed and "Tracking has not been detected on your homepage" if the code snippet has not been found. The date and time when the status check was performed appears on this page as well.
  • If the tracking code has not been found on your site, follow the instructions below the status information to install the code snippet.
