The v7.x cart offers several ways to offer customers discounts on products and shipping. Some examples are shown in the screen sample below.

Create a New Discount

To create a discount, Click on Add a Discount. The Edit Discounts & Coupons screen appears. Enter a name for the discount in Discount Name. Add a description of the discount in Description, and then select the type of discount you want to create from the Discount Type drop-down list.
