Does having a sitemap improve my website's keyword rankings?
Using a sitemap does not guarantee that your web pages will be included in search engine indexes nor does it influence the way your website's pages are ranked by a search engine. It merely optimizes the search engine's ability to see if your pages should be included in their index.
