Get Familiar with Webmail

When deciding if you would rather use our included Webmail interface or if you would rather use one of your favorite email clients, we think it would be helpful to let you know what all you can do within Webmail.

Webmail Home Page

Your Webmail home page will look similar to this. There are several key components to note, which are listed just below this image.

  • Webmail Toolbar
    • In the upper left corner, indicated by smaller images, you will see a toolbar that includes options to navigate between:
      • Home Page
      • Inbox
      • Calendar
      • Address Book / Contacts
      • Task List
      • Infostore / Document Manager
      • Configuration
  • Folder List
    • Just beneath the toolbar, you will see a list of current folders within your mailbox.
  • Calendar
    • Your calendar is always within reach. By default, your calendar will always be displayed in the same spot with each log in.

Webmail Toolbar

Your webmail toolbar will look like this.

Starting from left to right, the navigation within this box is:

  • Home Page
  • Inbox
  • Calendar
  • Address Book / Contacts
  • Task List
  • InfoStore / Document Manager
  • Configuration

  • Home Page
    • You will be able to return to your home page at any point while navigation through webmail.
  • Inbox
    • Clicking this image will take you directly to your inbox. From there, you will be able to manage your messages.
  • Calendar
    • Clicking this image will take you directly to your calendar where you will be able to create new appointment(s) / meeting(s), and accept or decline meeting invites from your co-worker(s).
  • Address Book / Contacts
    • If you constantly are searching your desk/workspace for a lost business card, you may want to consider entering their information directly into your webmail's address book. This also comes in handy if you tend to email the same contact(s) over and over.
  • Task List
    • Have too much on your plate? If so, you may want to consider tracking these items within the task manager where you can also assign other co-workers these tasks.
  • InfoStore / Document Manager
    • This is the perfect solution for companies/groups working from the same document or those who are constantly making revisions to the same document. This is also handy to use as a central location to store important documents and even URLs - just reference them in emails and meetings instead of constantly having to remember to bring them to the meeting or attach them to your messages.
  • Configuration
    • Don't like the default settings in our webmail? Just click this image and you will be free to change webmail to your own style.
