To start using your MessageGuard service, you must first download the MessageGuard plug-in for Outlook. Follow the set-up wizard and you'll be ready to send secure email in minutes.

The MessageGuard plug-in for Outlook is free, however, you must subscribe to the MessageGuard secure e-mail service to use it. The secure e-mail service will not work without a current paid subscription.

Download Instructions:

1. Download the plug-in.

 

 

2. Run the file download. Choose "Run" in the File Download - Security Warning dialog.
   
   
   • Note: If you cannot choose "Run", choose "Save" and save the file to your desktop. Double click on the file icon to open the file and run the set-up.

 

 

3. Follow the wizard instructions to finish the setup.



 

4. Start using MessageGuard. Start Outlook or Outlook Express. Open up a new message window, compose your e-mail message, and click the "Send Secure" button on the toolbar to send encrypted e-mail.
