Once you have registered your .ca domain name at Network Solutions®, you must set up an account with the .ca registry (CIRA). CIRA will send you an email with your CIRA user ID and temporary password shortly after you register your domain name. You must go to  

https://registrants.cira.ca/user within seven days of registering your .ca domain name and log in with the user ID and password that CIRA provided. You will be requested to accept or reject the CIRA Registrant Agreement, confirm your contact information, and choose if you want to assign Change Without Authorization ability to Network Solutions.

If you reject the CIRA Registrant Agreement or do not set up your CIRA account within seven days, then CIRA will delete your .ca domain name. You may request a one time seven day extension to set up your CIRA account by following the instructions below:

1. Log in to Account Manager at: https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/index.jsp. If you've forgotten your login information, please visit: https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/forget-login.jsp.
2. Select your .CA domain name in the "My Domain Names" section
3. Your CIRA account information will appear above the "Domain Details" section.
4. Click on the "Request Extension" button to submit the seven day extension request.

After you have finished setting up your CIRA account, you may begin managing your .ca domain name in the Network Solutions Account Manager. <insert article reference to Getting Started with your domain name>.
