Mobile Website Basics
Getting Started with your Mobile Website PackageSetting up your website package can be done in a few easy steps.
Step 1: Log In to Account Manager
When you're ready to begin, log in to Account Manager at https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/index.jsp.
Step 2: Set Up Your Mobile Website
Find the My Mobile Products area and click on Edit Mobile Site. Click on your website package from the list. You will now see options to configure your mobile website:
- Launch Setup Assistant
- Customize Domain (optional)
- Manage Redirect (optional)
Step 3: Build Your Mobile Website
Click the Launch Setup Assistant button to open your Mobile Website Control Panel. This will allow you to add text, links, contact info, and more to your mobile website. This control panel will also allow you to customize the look and feel of your mobile presence. You can learn more about all the available features of the Mobile Website product.
As you are adding each Feature, click the "OK" button to save.
Step 4: Publish Your Mobile Website
After you have finished configuring your website's features, click the Finish button at the bottom of the Mobile Website Control Panel to publish the website. You will then see instructions on how to access your mobile website in the control panel.
Step 5: Customize Domain (optional)
The paid version of the Mobile Website allows a user to customize their domain. Options include customizing the free domain provided (ex. 0193ab1.mynetworksolutoins.mob) or assigning a domain already in your account. You can also get a new domain name and point it at your mobile website. You can learn more about pointing domains to your Mobile Website package.
The free version of the Mobile Website does not allow for a custom domain. Upgrade your package to take advantage of this feature.
Step 6: Manage Redirect (optional)
This step is optional for both free and paid Mobile Website packages. This feature allows you to send visitors to your desktop website with a recognizable mobile device, to be automatically sent to your mobile website. Learn more about how to enable and disable redirects to your mobile website.
Step 7: Preview Your Website
You can now access your website from a recognizable mobile device to see your new site. If you enabled the site redirect, you can test it by entering in your desktop website to see if you are redirected to your new mobile website.
