  • Communicate more effectively with visitors by providing an e-mail address that matches your domain name
  • Promote your organization or business on a professional level
  • Increase awareness of goods and services you provide
  • Promote new goods and services

Before You Begin

Please read through this Getting Started guide before you begin designing your site. Setting up your Web site can be done in just four easy steps. However, a little bit of planning will help you maximize the benefits your site can offer.

When you're ready to begin designing your Web site, log in to Account Manager at: http://www.networksolutions.com and navigate to the My Products & Services tab in the top navigation.  Next, click on the My Website Packages link.

If you've forgotten your log-in information, please visit:  https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/forget-login.jsp

Step 1: Make sure your Web site has the correct domain name (also known as a Web address).

If you haven't yet assigned your domain name to your Web site, you will need to go to Account Manager and designate one.

  • Log in and click My Products & Services>>My Website Packages from the top navigation menu.
  • Scroll down to Web Sites to view your Web site packages. If you have more than one Web site package in your account, click on the Manage button next to the package of the Web site you want to use to build your retail site.
  • On the Web site details page, click Assign Domain and follow the instructions for assigning a domain name to your Web site package

Once you assign a domain name, you are ready to move on to Step 2.

Step 2: Set up your e-mail.

To begin setting up your e-mail, click My Products & Services > My Email from the top navigation menu.
Click the Add Mailbox button.

If you have multiple domains, select the domain you want to use and click Continue.

On the e-mail page, designate a name and password for every e-mail address you require. Start by creating a list of everyone that requires e-mail, and then decide on the address format you want to use, such as last-name.first-name@my-service-organization.com.

Making the addresses consistent helps present a professional image. You may also want to consider including a general e-mail address, such as info@my-service-organization.com.

You will need to assign a temporary password for each of the e-mail addresses you set up. Passwords must be 8-16 characters and contain at least 1 upper case character, at least 1 lower case character, and at least 1 numeral (ex. W6e3ENat).

Temporary passwords can be changed by each user when they log in to their individual account at http://mail.my-service-organization.com.

Step 3: Set up your Web site with our easy Web Site Builder Tool.

To begin designing your Web site, launch Network Solutions ImageCafe® Web Site Builder Tool from the Account Manager set-up screen or by clicking Web Sites and then Manage Web Sites from the left navigation menu.
