Getting the Tracking Code

To enable reporting on the performance of their websites, our SEO for Ecommerce customers need to have the tracking code from Network Solutions® installed on their sites. The tracking code is a piece of JavaScript code that is placed on your website to collect information about the Internet traffic.

To obtain the tracking code for your website:

  • Select your SEO for Ecommerce service in the online Account Manager and click View Full Reports.
  • Press the Tools tab at the top of the new browser window that opens.

  • View the status of the tracking code on the homepage of your website. If the tracking code has been installed, "Tracking has been detected on your homepage" will appear in the status section. If the code snippet has not been found, "Tracking has not been detected on your homepage" will appear here.
  • To install the tracking code, copy the JavaScript code snippet available on this page. Click inside the area with the code and use Ctrl+A to highlight its entire contents. Press Ctrl+C to copy the code to your clipboard.
  • Place the code snippet on every page of your website that you wish to track. The code must be placed before the closing </body> tag.
