To back up your mySQL Database using SSH:

1.     Go to www.networksolutions.com

2.     Click the Manage Account tab at the top right corner of your screen.

3.     Enter the User ID and password you created during your Web hosting purchase. If you've forgotten your log-in information, please visit: https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/forget-login.jsp.

4.     Click on the My Hosting Packages icon.

Note: If you have more than one nsHosting Shared package, click on a package name to view details.

5.     Click on the Web Hosting Toolbox button

6.     Scroll down to the Configurations section and click on Database Manager icon.

7.     Select the radio button next to the database you want to back up then click on the Edit button

8.     Click on the hyperlink Instructions: How to Access your Database via SSH and you will be provided the following instructions.

·          Open an SSH connection to the MySQL® server using the IP address (above) 

·          Login using your username and password (above) 

·          Once you have logged in, connect to your database using the command “use <databasename>;”

In addition to backing up with SSH, you can use a local mySQL-capable client, such as mysql for Windows or Microsoft® Access, and connect remotely to your database. Most mySQL applications have a back up option that can be used to create a copy of your database.
