Before getting started, if you have other email accounts setup in your Outlook, other than the one you are attempting to configure with the Plug-In, please click here prior to initiating the setup.

Downloading the Connector

1. From within your webmail you will first need to download the connector. Keep in mind the connector is NOT the Plug-In, it just looks for the most up-to-date version of the plug-in that is compatible with your version of Outlook.

2. Once you install the connector it will prompt you for a username/password. This is your full email address and password. ***Note, the connector will show up in the icon tray of your computer with an icon of a small light bulb. When the light bulb lights up this means the plug-in was found and you will need to click on the icon.

3. Click Next to begin the installation process.

4. On the next screen you will need to check the box next to "I accept the Terms in the License Agreement" and "Create mail profile". The plug-in will not work with an existing POP or IMAP account. The new profile will be MAPI in order to properly sync.

Re-Adding Data Files

Keep in mind that if your current data file is for an Exchange account, you will need to keep a separate profile for this. Also, if you are trying to move data from an email account that is not through Network Solutions and you don't know the server information to reconfigure, you will also need to manage a separate profile and won't be able to move it over to the one that was created with your nsMail PRO account.

If you aren't sure how to re-add your data file, please contact our Customer Service Department to purchase MyTime Support or contact Microsoft for further assistance.

Troubleshooting

Managing Profiles

The data file that the Plug-In creates is the only one that will sync back to the server, so if you need to move over data file information, you will need to move it into the profile that was created with the Plug-In.

Moving Calendar Data

It's highly recommended that you don't move over old Calendar data; currently this will only move over future Calendar items.

Moving Contacts

When you move over your contacts if you are experiencing issues, there will be a section in the Plug-In that tells you what is having trouble syncing and it will list the contact and the reason why. This is typically caused when there is an Outlook field filled out that the Plug-In doesn't understand, like a phone number that has too many characters.

Important Information Prior to Setup

When you setup the Plug-In, it will create a brand new profile for Outlook. This profile will be void of any other email account or data besides your Network Solutions nsMail PRO account. ***Note, your previous data is not last, it is simply in another Outlook profile which can be accessed by closing and re-opening Outlook.***

If you are not prompted to choose, you must go into the Mail icon though the control panel of your computer and set Outlook to prompt for a profile versus opening any one profile automatically.

If you do access other email addresses besides the nsMail PRO account, they will need to be re-added to the new profile if you do not want to manage multiple profiles. If you are currently using an Exchange account there is no option to have the Exchange and nsMail PRO account in the same profile and you will need to manage 2 profiles.

It's highly recommended that you screen capture your existing data files prior to configuring the Plug-In. If you are currently using an Exchange account with another company you will not be able to share that profile with the profile the Plug-In creates. In this case, you will need to have 2 separate profiles.

If you don't have the information to re-configure your Email Account(s) with other companies, you will also need to keep a separate profile.
