Spam & Virus Protection
How to Report SpamThe spam landscape is contstantly changing as spam senders continually try to stay ahead of the filter updates and definitions. As with even the best of the best, there are bound to be a few sporadic messages to slip through the cracks.
Because of this, we recommend you simply click the "Mark as Spam" or "Report Spam" button that can be found in our webmail platforms. Clicking this button will generate a message which will go directly to our systems as well as Cloudmark's. Please be sure only to report messages that are clearly unwanted advertisements that you have not requested.
Another method would be to send an email to: reportspam@networksolutions.com. Be sure to include as much information as possible without opening the message itself. You should never open any messages from senders you do not know, since this could be an open invitation for viruses, etc. to invade your machine.
Our abuse team will fully investigate the report and take action on your behalf. We will report the abusive messages to the ISP where the message originated. We will also notify the network administrators who operate any server that the message relayed through. If appropriate, we will also report the violation to anti-spam groups to eliminate open mail relays or to block networks with high volumes of spam. Additionally, the CloudmarkTM Authority system will flag the user you marked as spam, and if flagged enough times, the CloudmarkTM definitions will be automatically updated to block that user from future attempts.
Because we often receive numerous complaints regarding the same "batch" of spam, it is not possible to personally reply to each complaint. We may reply to if additional information is required to investigate the report.
We are currently working hard to allow our users to have total control over this by way of including a Spam Folder in the webmail interface; unfortunately this is not yet able to be implemented.
