How to Setup Your Email Filter(s)

What is a filter and what is it's purpose?

Custom filters allow advanced users to easily sort their messages according to their personal preferences. Email filtering is a way to automatically process incoming messages allowing you to organize your messages using specific criteria. It is commonly used to remove Spam, move messages from a specific sender to a dedicated folder, or even delete the message automatically once it's received.

***Note: All conditions must be met in order for the filter to function properly. Be careful when setting a filter up so it doesn't unintentionally get rid of a message you don't want it to actually delete. Example, if you set it up to delete a message with "Pic" in the subject line, it will also delete anything with "Picture" as well. It's recommended that you select to have the messages moved to the trash instead of deleted in case it moves something you don't want permanently deleted.
