If you have purchased a domain at a 3rd party Registrar, follow the below steps to assign it to your nsCommerceSpace store.

  1. Login to your Network Solutions Account Manager: https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/index.jsp
  2. Navigate to the My Products & Services tab.
  3. Click the My Ecommerce Package
    • If you have multiple Ecommerce packages, select the appropriate one.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and find the Manage Ecommerce Domains section
  5. Click the Assign DNS button
  6. On the next screen you have 2 options:
  7. If the domain is registered with Network Solutions and on this account, select it from the drop-down menu, add the "www" prefix and click "Go" to complete the transaction.
  8. If the domain is not registered with Netwok Solutions, click the click here link in the link above the drop-down.
  9. Follow the on screen steps.
  10. Take these DNS records to your domain registrar and update the DNS records.

Note: Your Registrar may only require primary and secondary host names instead of IP addresses. If this is the case, you can go back to step #4 and click the "View DNS" records next to the appropriate domain.  This will give you the appropriate Name Servers.

Note: Once the DNS settings take effect and your domain is online, please discontinue use of your IP address and use only your domain name. For example, if you once linked to your store using an IP address (i.e. 128.45.128.45), now use your official domain name (i.e. http://www.yoursite.com).

  • When your DNS is successfully changed, your e-mail will begin working.

If you have – or intend to use – a third-level domain like shop.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.co.uk, please do not change your DNS information over immediately. Please consult with our Tech Support before moving your domain name.
