Installation for F5 FirePass
  1. First download your domainname.crt from Account Manager. You can either download the zip file that includes it, or download it individually from the individual file download links. (For example if your domain is '', this file will be named '').
  2. Download the Apache_Plesk.txt file which contains chained together intermediate files. This will be under the individual file download section. This will work on your server despite the name of the file.
  3. From the Admin's Console, click Server.
  4. Click Security.
  5. Click the Certificates link.
  6. Click the Install link next to 'Install/Renew Certificate'.
  7. Click the Add new certificate button at the bottom of the screen.
  8. Copy the certificate and key and paste them into the appropriate box.

    The first step is in the box with the subject "Paste the new certificate in the PEM format (for Apache + mod_ssl) here:" You need to paste your certificate with your domainname.crt from the zip file.

    Following this in the box with the subject "Paste the corresponding cryptographic key in PEM format here:" You need to place your private key that you previously generated.

    If you have placed a pass phase on the certificate request in the box with the subject "Enter password here:" then you will need to place your password you have specified in this field.

    In the box with the subject "Optionally, put your intermediate certificate chain here (in the PEM format):" you need to place the content from the Apache_Plesk_Install.txt file in this box.

  9. Click Go!.
  10. You will be returned to the original SSL Server Certificate install screen and you should see the new certificate that you just installed.
