Installation of an EV SSL Certificate on WHM/CPanel

Please note that you will need to install this certificate using the SSL manager section of WHM. If you are not an administrator, you will not be able to install the certificate and will have contact your administrator in order to do so.

At the installation screen you will need to fill in the correct information in the relevant areas.

Step 1. In the first box you will need to paste the content of your domain/site certificate file from the zip file that you downloaded from Network Solutions. This will be named "domainname.com".crt, where "domainname.com" is your domain.

Step 2. Fill in the required domain / user / IP address information

Step 3. In the middle box you will need paste the correct RSA private key that was generated with the CSR

Step 4. In the bottom box, paste the CA bundle file. This is named Apache_Plesk_Install.txt and can be downloaded in Account Manager in the individual files download section. This will work for your server despite the name of the file.

Alternatively you can create this file yourself by combining the UTNAddTrustServer_CA.crt file, the NetworkSolutionsUTNServerCA.crt file, and the NetworkSolutionsEVSSLCA.crt file in a text document, with all the content pasted including -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and -----END CERTIFICATE----- 

• The UTNAddTrustServer_CA.crt content should bepasted first
• Then the NetworkSolutionsUTNServerCA.crt content should be pasted
• Finally the NetworkSolutionsEVSSLCA.crt should be pasted
• There should be no whitespace, including blank lines between the text

The files can be found in the *.zip file you received or downloaded individually from the "Optional Download: Individual Certificate Files" section in Account Manager.

It is recommended that you use the text file already provided by Network Solutions.

Step 5. Press the "Do it" button

The SSL certificate is now added to your server and assigned to the domain.
