Ipad Mail Client Setup
*Please Note*
Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have recently begun blocking port 25. If port 25 does not work for you, try using server port 2525 as an outgoing server.
iPad:
This tutorial will take you through the step by step process of setting up your Network Solutions email with your ipad
1. On your Ipad home screen tap the settings icon
2. Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Tap on Add Account
4. Tap on Other
5. Tap Add mail account
6. Enter this information:
7. Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the "From" field of your outgoing messages.
8. Email Address: Enter your full mail address (e.g., john@example.com).
9. Password: Enter your password.
10. Enter in a description of this account
11. Tap Save
12. Tap POP tab
13. Tap Incoming Mail Server
14. Enter this information:
15. For your Incoming mail server (POP3): type "mail" followed by your domain name (e.g. mail.example.com)
16. User Name: Enter your full email address
17. Password: Enter your password
18. Scroll down and enter this information
19. For your Outgoing mail server (SMTP): type "smtp." followed by your domain name (e.g. smtp.example.com)
20. User Name: Enter your full email address
21. Password: Enter your password.
22. Tap Save
23. If a screen comes up that says “Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL: Tap no
24. Tap Save
25. Tap on your email account
26. Tap on SMTP
27. Tap on the button with the Use SSL to turn it off
1. Tap on the server port and Change your outgoing server setting to 2525 or 587
28. Tap on your email account tab in the upper left to go back
29. Tap the Done button to go back to you mail settings
Push the home button to finish
