Assign a Domain
1) To log in to Account Manager:
a) Go to www.networksolutions.com and click the Manage Account button in the upper right corner of the screen.
b) On the Account Manager login page, enter your User ID and password. Please note: Your User ID may have been referred to previously as a User Name or Account Number.
c) If you've forgotten your login information, please click the link below the Password field or visit: https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/forget-login.jsp.
2) Select your hosting package from the drop down in the "My Email" section.

3) On the Hosted Exchange Overview page, select “go” beside the “Assign a Domain” alert or select “Change or Assign Additional Domains”

4) Select your domain from the drop down box

Tip: To assign a domain that is not with Network Solutions, use “If you would like to assign a domain that is not listed, Click Here.”
Set-up a Mailbox
1) Log in to Account Manager ( as described in “Assign a Domain”)
2) For domains from another provider, be sure you have assigned your domain as described in the “Assign a Domain”
a) You will need to set your MX records properly http://www.networksolutions.com/support/accessing-dns-manager-advanced-tools/
b) MX records should be set to:
server1.inboundmx.com (priority 10)
server2.inboundmx.com (priority 20)
3) Select your hosting package from the drop down in the email section ( as described in “Assign a Domain”)
4) Once on the Hosted Exchange email overview page, click on the “Control Panel” button which will launch the control panel in a new window.
5) In the control panel screens, choose the options as shown:
a) Exchange
b) Mailboxes
c) Add new mailbox

6) On the Add new mailbox screen, populate display name, login name and password.
a) The Password must be 6 letters and contain 3 different types of characters: uppercase, lowercase, numeric and special characters. If there are less than 3 different characters, the minimum length is 8.
b) Select the Appropriate domain from the dropdown.

c) Click Next
7) On the following page, Confirm or change Alias, Mailbox name and size as appropriate
a) Choose the access methods you need, including ActiveSync if you have purchased it.
b) You must include, at least one access method

Tip: If you have purchased Blackberry, this will be assigned via the following path: Hosting | Exchange | Wireless Services | Blackberry Accounts | [Add New Account] | Selected: Select (Row of User to be activated) | [Next>>]
8) Once you click finish, you will see the mailbox listed on the following page

9) Users can access webmail at: https://mail.hostaccount.com
Get Outlook Up and Running
Tip: Key Things to Know:
MAPI Server: AUSP01VMBX01.collaborationhost.net
RPC Server: outlook.collaborationhost.net
1. Start a new profile by opening the Control Panel of the local Windows machine and opening the Mail icon, and then click Add, enter a Profile Name, and click the OK:

NOTE: Once your Outlook connection is established, you can set the When starting Microsoft Office Outlook, use this profile: to Always use this profile (the second radio button option), or Prompt for a profile to be used (the first radio button option) to toggle between multiple Profiles.
2. Check Manually configure server settings or additional server types, and click Next.

3. Check Microsoft Exchange Server, and click Next

4. The Microsoft Exchange server to use is AUSP01VMBX01.collaborationhost.net, check User Cached Exchange Mode, and enter the User Name (full username, usually the user’s Primary Email Address), and then click More Settings… (click Cancel on any window that appears that isn’t titled Microsoft Exchange).

5. Under the Outlook Anywhere, check the Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP box, and click the Exchange Proxy Settings button.

6. Enter outlook.collaborationhost.net for the https:// address, check the box labeled Only connect to proxy servers that have this principal name in their certificate, and enter into that field msstd:outlook.collaborationhost.net, check On fast networks, connecting using HTTP first, then connect using TCP/IP, and change the Proxy authentication settings drop down to Basic Authentication, and click OK.

7. Click OK again, and then NEXT, and then FINISH. Open the profile and log In!
