Research has shown that a Web site is a critical source of business leads for professional service firms. Now, you can present an attractive, professional Web site customized to your business needs with just a few clicks to:

Before you begin
Please read through this Getting Started guide before you begin designing your site. Setting up your Web site can be done in just four easy steps. However, a little bit of planning will help you maximize the benefits your site can offer.

When you're ready to begin designing your Web site, log in to Account Manager at: http://www.networksolutions.com and click "My Website Packages" to be taken to a page listing the details of your Web site package. If you've forgotten your log-in information, please visit: https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/forget-login.jsp.

Step 1: Make sure your Web site has the correct domain name (also known as a Web address).

If you haven't yet assigned your domain name, or Web address, to your Web site you will need to go to Network Solution's Account Manager nd designate one.

  • In Account Manager, click "My Website Packages" to be taken to a page listing the details of your Web site package.

    If you have more than one Web site in your account, please click on a package name to see the details for each Web site.
  • On the Web site details page, click the Assign Domain link and follow the instructions for associating the domain name to your Web site package.

    If you have set up your domain name, you are ready to move on to Step 2.

Step 2: Set up your e-mail.

To begin setting up your e-mail, go to the e-mail page of the Account Manager through the link on the set-up screen or by clicking "My Email".

  • In the e-mail page, you will be asked to designate a name and password for every e-mail address you require. You might want to start by creating a list of everyone you want to provide e-mail to and then decide on the address format you want to use-for example "last-name.first-name@my-professional-services.com". Making the addresses consistent helps present a professional image. You may also want to consider including a general e-mail address, such as info@my-professional-services.com.
  • You will also need to assign a temporary password for each of the e-mail addresses you set up. Passwords must be 8-16 characters and contain at least 1 upper case character, at least 1 lower case character and at least 1 numeral (example: W6e3ENat) to ensure your login information is secure. The temporary password can be changed by each user when they log in to their individual account at http://mail.my-professional-services.com.

Step 3: Set up your Web site with our easy Web Site Builder tool.

To begin designing and customizing your Web site, launch Network Solutions ImageCafé® Web Site Builder Tool from the Account Manager set-up screen or by clicking "My Website Packages". Here, our brief setup wizard will guide you through the steps of building your Web site. Our wizard will ask you to choose a Web site template from a selection designed specifically for Professionals.

As you go through the process of creating your Web site, keep these recommendations in mind:

  •   Clearly explain your areas of expertise
  • Organize pages and content by the issues your clients/patients care about
  • Provide proof of expertise through articles, case studies, and testimonials
  • Make it easy to contact you by providing contact information on each page of your Web site.
