A professional Web site is an essential tool for attracting new customers and managing your business efficiently. Now, you can present an attractive, professional Web site with just a few clicks to:

  • Attract new customers
  • Enhance your credibility-build trust and confidence by providing information about your company

  • Streamline communications with customers and prospects

Before you begin
Please read through this Getting Started guide before you begin designing your site. Setting up your Web site can be done in just four easy steps. However, a little bit of planning will help you maximize the benefits your site can offer. When you're ready to begin designing your Web site, log in to Account Manager at: http://www.networksolutions.com and click on the "Web Site Packages" tab in the left side navigation menu to be taken to a page listing the details of your Web site package. If you've forgotten your log-in information, please visit: https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/forget-login.jsp.

Step 1: Make sure your Web site has the correct domain name (also known as a Web address).

If you haven't yet assigned your domain name, or Web address, to your Web site you will need to go to Network Solutions® Account Manager nd designate one.

In Account Manager, click Web Site Packages in the left-hand menu to be taken to a page listing the details of your Web site package. If you have more than one Web site in your account, please click on a package name to see the details for each Web site.

On the Web site details page, click Assign Domain and follow the instructions for associating the domain name to your Web site package.

If you have set up your domain name, you are ready to move onto Step 2.

Step 2: Set up your e-mail.

To begin setting up your e-mail, go to the e-mail page of the Account Manager through the link on the set-up screen or by clicking E-Mail and then Manage E-Mail in the left-hand menu.

On the e-mail page, you will be asked to designate a name and password for every e-mail address you require. You might want to start by creating a list of everyone you want to provide e-mail to and then decide on the address format you want to use-for example "last-name.first-name@my-service-organization.com".

Making the addresses consistent helps present a professional image. You may also want to consider including a general e-mail address, such as info@my-service-organization.com. You will need to assign a temporary password for each of the email addresses you set up. Passwords must be 8-16 characters and contain at least one upper case character, at least one lower case character, and at least one numeral (Example: W6e3ENat). The temporary password can be changed by each user when they log in to their individual account from the main location, such as:
http://mail.my-service-organization.com.

Step 3: Set up your Web site with our easy Web Site Builder tool.

To begin designing your Web site, launch Network Solutions ImageCafé® Web Site Builder Tool from the Account Manager set-up screen or click Web Sites and then Manage Web Sites in the left-hand menu. Here, our brief set-up wizard will guide you through the steps of building your Web site.
