Role of Account Contacts
There are four types of account contacts:
1. Account holder
2. Primary contact
3. Account administrative contact
4. Account technical contact
At their discretion, Account Holders and Primary Contacts can add or revoke the permission of an account contact.
For an individual account, the Account Holder and the Primary Contact are the same person; however, for an organization account, the organization is the Account Holder, and the Primary Contact is the Account Manager point of contact for that organization.
Although account contacts have permission to manage your services, WHOIS Administrative Contacts and WHOIS Technical Contacts DO NOT have permission to manage your account unless you also designate WHOIS contacts as Network Solutions®® account contacts.
