SEO for Ecommerce Reporting Video
Section 1: Welcome
Script: Welcome to the Network Solutions SEO for Ecommerce Reporting video. Your SEO for Ecommerce Online Reports are a great way to track your Search Engine Optimization campaign with Network Solutions.
In this video, we will walk you through the features of your Online SEO reports and explain how to find information about your SEO campaign.
The information in your reports is updated frequently and we encourage you to come back and check your reports on a regular basis.
Let’s get started. Click next to continue.
Section 2: LOGIN
Script:
To log in to your SEO for Ecommerce Online Reports go to networksolutions.com
and click on the manage account button on the top right to log in.
log in using your user ID and password. If you’ve forgotten your user ID or password – click the “I’ve forgotten my User ID or Password” link for help.
Once logged into Account Manager, click on My Online Marketing Services.
If you have multiple online marketing services, click on the link for your SEO for Ecommerce service. Otherwise you will automatically be taken to your SEO for Ecommerce details page.
Scroll down and click on the view reports button at the bottom of the page.
Click next to continue.
Section 3: Visits
Script:
When you login to the reports, you will see the Visits report, which is the first report available under the Website Traffic area.
This report shows the total number of visits to your website.
You can view this data in both the graph
And in the table by day, by week or by month
You’ll see a percentage number in parenthesis next to the actual number of visits in this column. This is the percentage of the total visits to the site in the time period selected for this report.
You can use the navigation menu on the left to access additional Website Traffic reports such as: Page Views, Search Engines, Referring Sites, Search Keywords, Time on Site, and Top Landing Pages.

Section 4: Page Views
Script:
The Page Views report illustrates the traffic pattern to your site. A page view is counted each time someone views a page on your site.
You can view this data in both the graph
And in the table by day, by week or by month
You’ll see a percentage number in parenthesis next to the actual number of visits in this column. This is the percentage of the total page views to the site in the time period selected for this report.
Use the drop-down menu at the top of the report to view page views for the entire site or a specific page
Click Next to continue.
Section 5: Search Engines
Script:
The Search Engines report shows what search engines people use to find your website.
For each of the referring search engines,
you get information on number of visits,
number of pages viewed,
average time on site,
percentage of new visitors,
and bounce rate or number of times people leave your site after viewing the first page.
Click Next to continue.
Section 6: Referring Sites
Script:
The Referring Sites report shows a list of sites that visitors came from prior to landing on your website.
You can view this data in both the pie chart, which shows the top 10 referring sites
And in the table, which provides a complete list of referring sites we have been able to detect

Section 7: Search Keywords
Script:
The Search Keywords report shows the most popular keywords or search terms that people use to find your website.
You can view this data in both the pie chart, which shows the top 10 most popular search keywords
And in the table, which provides a complete list of search keywords we have been able to detect

Section 8: Time on Site Report
Script:
The Time on Site report shows the average amount of time visitors spend on your website.
This information is available in the graph and table formats
You can view data for your entire site or individual pages
Click Next to continue.
Section 9: Top Landing Pages Report
Script:
The Top Landing Pages report shows the most popular pages where people enter your site.
The pie chart represents the top 10 entry pages on your site
The complete list of all landing pages on your site is shown in the table with details for each page, including number of visits and bounce rate
Click Next to continue.
Section 10: Marketing Campaigns
Script:
Next, we’ll review the Marketing Campaigns Section of your SEO reports.
Click the Keyword Ranking report under the Marketing Campaigns tab in the left navigation. This report tracks your website’s ranking or position in the top search engines, including Google®, Yahoo!® and Bing®.
We track your website ranking for the keywords that are part of your SEO campaign. The smaller the ranking number, the higher you rank on search engine result pages for this keyword.
You can view this data in both the graph
And in the table
To view your website rank for a different search term, make a selection in the Keywords drop-down list at the top of the report
Early in your SEO campaign, you may see an alert at the top of the page that says your website ranks above #100 in all the search engines.
This is to be expected when we’ve just started optimizing your site. Over time, as our SEO work gets recognized by the search engines, your rankings will improve. Check back often to view your progress.

Section 11: Leads and Conversions Section
Script:
Next, we’ll review the Leads and Conversions Section of your SEO reports.
Click the All Leads report under the Leads and Conversions tab in the left navigation
This report tracks the number and details of customer leads received through your website, including Emails, Form submissions, Shopping cart check outs, visits to high-value landing pages
To get detailed information about each lead, including its source, date when it was received, SEO product group, keyword and search engine that sent the lead to your site, click the lead in the table.
To enable lead tracking for your website, contact your Account Manager.

Section 12: Manipulating Your Reports
Script:
Now let’s review how to manipulate your reports to see different views of your data.
You can use the control panel at the top of each report to change the way information is presented.
Click the Date Range drop down menu to select the time period for the report you are currently viewing.
You can adjust the time period by choosing from a pre-defined date range via the buttons on the right,
Or you can use the calendar to pick the exact dates you want to see
Click Next to continue.
Section 13: View Section
Script:
Now let’s review the functions in the View area.
You can use the options in the View box to choose the frequency of data displayed in the graph and table. You can view information in daily, weekly or monthly increments.
For some of the reports (for example, Page Views), you can select to view the data for the entire website or only specific pages using the drop-down list available in the View box.

Section 14: Sort Table
Script:
In the Sort Table area,
you can click the drop-down list in the Sort Table box to select the sort order for the table.
For example, on the Page Views report, the choices are Date or Page Views. By default, the data in table is sorted chronologically by date. Selecting the Page Views option will sort the table based on the number of page views received
Please note that the options in this drop-down will vary for each report.
Use the Z-A button to sort the data in the descending order

Section 15: Report
Script:
In the Report Area, there are 3 buttons: Export, Print and Email,
Click the Export button to download the report into PDF, Excel or CSV formats.
Click the Print button to print the current report view in a PDF format.
Click the Email button to email the current report to colleagues.
Click Next to continue.
Section 16: Tools
Script:
Now let’s look at the Tools Tab.
For us to be able to report on the performance of your website, the tracking code found here must be installed on your site.
If the tracking code has been installed on your homepage, there will be a green check, like this.
If we have FTP or CMS access to your site, we will install the code for you.
If we don’t have this access, you’ll want to install the code yourself following the instructions on this page.
