Disable a Redirect a website not using the Website Builder Tool

Introduction

The Mobile Website package allows for a user to apply or configure redirect code between their "desktop website" and their mobile website.  When applied correctly, a user trying to view the desktop website from a mobile device, will be automatically redirected to the mobile website.  This allows for minimal effort by a visitor and provides them the optimal experience.

Edit you Mobile Website Product

To configure the redirect code, there are two options:

1. Users with a website built in the Network Solutions® Website Builder Tool
2. Users not using the Network Solutions® Website Builder Tool

To make any edits to the Mobile Website product, first:

1. Go to https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/index.jsp
2. On the Account Manager login page, enter your User ID and password. Please note: Your User ID may have been referred to previously as a User Name or Account Number.
   1. If you've forgotten your login information, please click the link below the Password field or visit: https://www.networksolutions.com/manage-it/forget-login.jsp.
3. Click on My Products & Services tab.
4. Under the My Mobile Services section, click My Mobile Products



5. Select the Manage button next to the desired package



6. Mobile Website details page

Enable a Redirect your Website Builder Tool site to your Mobile Website

1. From the Mobile Website details page:
2. Under the Redirect Mobile Device (optional) section
3. Click the Manage Redirect button



4. If this is not available, your account does not contain a Website Builder Tool site. You can enable a redirect by following the below instructions Enable a Redirect a website not using the Website Builder Tool
5. You will then be presented with all of the sites using the Website Builder Tool and available for our point-and-click redirect options.
6. Click the Enable Redirect button below the site you would like to redirect to your mobile website



7. To confirm the changes click the Apply Changes button



8. You will then see the Redirect is currently: update to On.

Note: You can only redirect one website to a mobile website.

Enable a Redirect a website not using the Website Builder Package

1. From the Mobile Website details page:
2. Under the Redirect Mobile Device (optional) section



3. There is a hyperlink to See Instructions for enabling redirects
4. Follow that link, also available here

Disable a Redirect your Website Builder Package site to your Mobile Website

1. From the Mobile Website details page:
2. Under the Redirect Mobile Device (optional) section
3. Click the Manage Redirect button



4. If this is not available, your account does not contain a Website Builder Tool site. You can enable a redirect by following the below instructions Disable a Redirect a website not using the Website Builder Tool
5. You will then be presented with all of the sites using the Website Builder Tool and available for our point-and-click redirect options.  You will also see an option to Disable the redirect from the Website Builder Tool website
6. Click the Disable button below the site you would like to redirect to your mobile website



7. To confirm the changes click the Apply Changes button



8. You will then see the Redirect is currently: update to Off.

Disable a Redirect a website not using the Website Builder Tool

1. You will need to remove the code you placed as part of the enabling process
2. From the Mobile Website details page:
3. Under the Redirect Mobile Device (optional) section



4. There is a hyperlink to See Instructions for enabling redirects
