Updating Password in Your Mail Client

Select Your Mail Client:

Windows Live

Outlook 2003

Outlook 2007

Outlook 2010

Outlook Express

iPhone/iPad

Mac Mail

Outlook for Mac

Windows Live:

Once you have your Windows Live opened, please follow the instructions below to update your password:
1.    Click Tools ,Accounts
2.    Click the Mail Tab
3.    Select the account you want to update and select Properties
4.    Click on the Servers Tab
5.    In the Password box, enter your new password
6.    Click Apply, then Ok

 

 

Outlook 2003

Once you have your Outlook opened, please follow the instructions below to update your password:
1.    Click Tools, E-mail Accounts
2.    Check View or Change existing e-mail account and click Next
3.    Select the account you want to update and click the Change button
4.    Enter the new password
5.    Click Next, then Finish

 

 

Outlook 2007

Once you have your Outlook opened, please follow the instructions below to update your password:
1.    Click Tools, Account Settings
2.    Select the account you want to update and click Change
3.    Under the Login Information section you will see a box that says Password, enter the new password in that box
4.    Click Next, Finish, then Close

 

 

Outlook 2010

Once you have your Outlook opened, please follow the instructions below to update your password:
1.    Click File, Account Settings
2.    Click Change
3.    Enter your new password in the Password box
4.    Click Next, Finish, then Close

 

 

Outlook Express

Once you have your Outlook Express opened, please follow the instructions below to update your password:
1.    Click Tools, Accounts
2.    Click the Mail tab, select the account you  wish to update, and select Properties
3.    Click the Servers tab
4.    Under Incoming Mail Server enter the new password in the Password field
5.    Click Apply, Ok, then Close

 

 

iPhone or iPad

Once you have opened your email from within your iPhone/iPad, please follow the instructions below to update your password:
1.    Select the account you want to update (you will be taken to a page where you will need to click the account again)
2.    Click on Password section
3.    Erase the old password and enter in the new one
4.    Select Done
5.    Under the Outgoing Mail Server section, click on your SMTP server
6.    Click on the Primary server
7.    Erase what is currently in the Password section and type in the new password

 

 

Mac Mail

Once you have opened Mac Mail, please follow the instructions below to update your password:
1.    Click Mail Menu, Preferences
2.    Click the Accounts tab
3.    Select the account you want to update
4.    In the Password field, enter your new password
5.    Click your Outgoing SMTP Server and select Edit SMTP Server List
6.    On the Advanced Tab enter the new password in the Password section
7.    Click Ok and close the window

 

 

Outlook for Mac

Once you have your Outlook opened, please follow the instructions below to update your password:
1.    Click the Outlook Menu from within the Menu bar
2.    Click Preferences then Accounts
3.    Enter the new password on this screen. Your changes will automatically be saved once they are entered
