Account Information

Updating Your User Information

Your user information is displayed in Account Manager under the Account Settings in User Profile section. It includes:

  • Account Holder Name
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • NIC Handle
  • Privacy Settings

You can change any of this information, except the NIC Handle.

 

To change your log-in information:

  1. Log in to Account Manager
  2. Click the Account Settings tab
  3. Click the User Profile
  4. Click the Edit User ID / Password button

 

To update your first and last name:

  • Next to your name, click on the Change Name link, enter a new name, and then click on the Continue button
  • Review the changes, click on the link to read the Service Agreement and, when finished, select the check box, and then click on the Continue button
  • On the Changes Confirmed page, click on the Continue button to return to your account information.
  • Make any additional changes to your user profile then click on the Save button


To update your address, phone number, or email address:

  • Enter the new information in the appropriate text box, and then click on the Save button. Your user information has been updated.

Please note: Your NIC Handle cannot be edited. It is automatically generated by Network Solutions® and cannot be changed. The NIC Handle uniquely identifies a user in the database. If you are the Account Holder (Registrant), changing your User Name will also change the Account Holder (Registrant) name.


To update your VAT Identification Number (if applicable):

  1. Log in to Account Manager
  2. Click the Account Settings tab
  3. Click on Accounts and Contacts
  4. Click on Edit User Profile
  5. Click Edit on your Account on the "Edit Account Information" page
  6. Enter your VAT number in the "VAT Number' field and click "Go".
  7. Your VAT number will be added to your Account.
