New Merchant Control Panel (MCP) – Merchants will now see a completely reskinned version of their MCP. This new MCP better utilizes your screen real estate, consolidates Help material, and moves a few functions around.
The updated MCP primary changes include font, color, size changes, and new imagery. The control panel will also move the following features:
- Message Center is moved to the left in the Global Navigation
- Store Open/Close feature is now in the Global Navigation
- Open Help Ticket, Setup Checklist and User Manual have been collapsed under the Global Navigation Help section
- On page help has been moved under the in-page Help Tab.

Here is a screenshot of the new dashboard, also showing the revamped Setup Checklist

Express Product Setup – This is a new way to add products quickly to your site for consumption. Your MCP will have links on strategic places to allow you to quickly add a product to your product catalog.
Now next to your normal “Add a new product” you will see the Express Product Setup. The old way of adding a product is now named “Advanced Product Setup.”

In addition to the current placement, the Express Product Setup is also available in the Add-A-Store experience, giving users the ability to configure products at the end of the setup process. This is available for both Buy Now buttons and Single Product Layout.

When clicking the Express Product Setup, you will be presented with the most basic information needed to create a product:
- Product Type: In Express Setup this is always Regular Products. eProducts, Bundled Products, and eGift Certificates will still require the Advanced Product Setup to complete.
- Product Name: Same as the Advanced Product Setup
- Price: This is your General Price. Price Level settings should be done through Advanced Product Setup
- Short Description: This will create a short description, but also copy this into your Long Description. You can always customize in Advanced Product Edit.
- Categories: Like normal, select or create a new category to be used for this product.
- Product Image: Upload your product image. Express Setup only allows for a single image, more can be added in Advanced Edit.

After configuring your product, you now have 4 options:
- Cancel: Will not save any data and returns you to the previous screen.
- Save & Return: Which saves the product data and returns you to the previous screen
- Save & Add Another: Saves the product you entered, clears the field and allows you to add another product.
- Save & Advanced Edit: Saves the product information and sends you to the Advanced Edit page to allow you to customize it even further.
Add-A-Store Updates – This section will use some updated imagery, better descriptive text and improved instructions. Also, as previously mentioned, Add-A-Store also has the Express Product Setup option available at the point where you copy code.
An Add-A-Store User Permission is now available. It will allow a non-Super Admin to be granted access to this page. This can be enabled via the normal Operations>Users>Edit User Permission settings.
New Templates Available – This release will include 9 new templates, each coming in 3 color variations. These templates are available in the Recently Added section.
In addition to new templates, we are starting to retire some of the old ones. Since some customers are still using them, we are placing them in an Archived section for anyone that still uses them.

Checkout Surcharges – After this release, merchants can now place surcharges on Checkout Question answers. This feature will operate the same way as Personalization Surcharges with one exception; making it non-taxable. Merchants can determine if the surcharge should be taxed or not, based on the use of the surcharge.

Any added surcharges will then appear in a new line order line item called “Add-Ons.”
