What can I do to boost my Conversion Rate?

A good Conversion Rate should be above 2%.  There are several factors that could contribute to why people are not converting once on your site, some are not even Ad Campaign related. 

  1. It could be the design or lay out of your Website. Make sure your company's contact information, such as phone number, email address, information form, are easily found on your website and located near the top of your website.
  2. The problem could be your Keywords. Pay close attention to the bounce rate and time on site metrics found in your Reports. Eliminate the Keywords that contribute to high bounce rate or low time on site. Also try playing around with different Match Types other than Broad. Make sure that your Keywords are extremely relevant to your website and your Ads.
  3. Try pausing Keywords that don't convert. If you have Keywords that are converting, pause the non-converting Keywords to allow more budget to be applied to the Keywords that do work.
  4. Are you too expensive? If you are an Ecommerce business, make sure your product pricing and shipping costs are in line with your competitors.
