What is a challenge question and how do I update it?

The challenge questions are used for security purposes to enable you to retrieve your Account Manager password and to allow Customer Service to confirm your identity when you call. It is critical that you keep your challenge questions up-to-date.

 

To update or review your challenge questions:

1.     Log in to Account Manager

2.     From the Account Settings tab, click the User Profile button

3.     In the User ID and Password  section, click Edit User ID/Password, then at the bottom of the page under Edit Password Security Questions, you can review or change your challenge question and answer.

Please note: If your challenge question is not maintained or up-to-date, any transaction with Network Solutions®® could be delayed or jeopardized, and fax verification could be required for authentication purposes.
