Why do I get an error message when trying to activate my Free Website account?

You will receive the error message below when trying to activate your Free Website account if you wait more than seven days to click on the activation link in the confirmation email or if you have already activated your account.

If more than seven days have passed since you received the confirmation email, you may complete the Free Website account activation process by following the instructions below:


  • If you know the User ID that you created when registering for the Free Website package, enter it in the "Reset Your Password" area. If you do not know your User ID, enter the email address that you entered when registering for the Free Website package in the "Retrieve Your User ID" area. Your user ID will be sent to you via email.
  • If you choose to reset your password, select the option to have the system email you a link that allows you to reset your password.
  • Once you confirm the password, the system will automatically log you in.

Your Free Website account is now active. To begin using your Free Website package, login to Account Manager, click on the Website Builder Tools tab, and click on the icon for your Free Website package. The Website Builder will launch in a new window and you can start building your one page Free Website.
