Why Isn’t My Domain Name Resolving

There could be several reasons why your domain name isn't resolving correctly, or pointing to the correct place on the Internet. Please review the following situations to see if one applies to you:

Did you just move your domain name to a Network Solutions® DNS or register a new domain name? If so, it will take approximately 12-36 hours for the domain name information to propagate to servers world-wide. Once that process is complete your domain name should resolve correctly.

Did you forget to renew your domain name? If so, your services may have expired. To check this, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Account Manager

2. If you have expired services and/or services that are scheduled to expire within the next 30 days, you will see an Important Account Information alert with notification that You have domains or services that already expired or will expire within 30 days

3. You may also confirm the expiration date of your services by clicking the Renewal Center tab in the top menu

4. Select the check box to the left of the domain name(s), and any additional services, you would like to renew then click on the Renew button

5. You may also be prompted to add some additional products to your renewal order - If you would like to add any of these products, select them then click on the Continue button

6. Select the term period(s) you would like to purchase and complete the purchase
