Why nsProtect™ Safe Indicates Failed Scans and Unavailable Reports

If Account Manager indicates that your nsProtect™ Safe scan has failed or if your most recent report is not available, then Network Solutions® was unable to complete the daily scan of your website.  Typically, this is due to a disruption on the Internet between Network Solutions and your hosting provider - such disruptions are beyond the control of Network Solutions.  Network Solutions will complete your scan during the next 24 hour period if no disruptions on the Internet exist at that time.  If you experience failed scans over several consecutive days, your Web hosting provider may be blocking the Network Solutions scanning service.  In such situations, you will need to contact your hosting provider to request that they permit Network Solutions to conduct vulnerability monitoring.
