WordPress PodCasting And VideoCasting

Adding PodPress to your Web Hosting for WordPress installation

To add podcasting support to your Web Hosting for WordPress installation, you need to enable the "PodPress" plugin. To do so:

  • Log into Account Manager.
  • Click on WordPress.
  • Optionally, select your WordPress package (if you have more than one).
  • Click on the "Login to WordPress" button and enter your login credentials.
  • Click the "Plugins" button.
  • Click the "Activate" button for the podPress plugin.

You will now be able to broadcast your podcasts on iTunes - there should now be a podPress link on your left hand navigation bar. To upload content, go to the "Media" link on your left hand navigation bar and click on "Add New".

Adding VideoCast to your Web Hosting for WordPress installation

To add videocasting (vlog) support to your Web Hosting for WordPress installation, you need to enable the "All In One Video Pack" plugin. To do so:

  • Log into Account Manager.
  • Click on WordPress.
  • Optionally, select your WordPress package (if you have more than one).
  • Click on the "Login to WordPress" button and enter your login credentials.
  • Click the "Plugins" button.
  • Click the "Activate" button for the All In One Video Plugin plugin.

You should now get a message at the top of the screen that says "To complete the All In One Video Pack Installation, you must get a Partner ID". After clicking on that link and registering, you should have an "Interactive Video" icon when you make a new blog post.
