How is your technical support?
omNovia has built a solid reputation in customer support. Technical support is available 24x7 via phone, live chat and support ticketing system at http://support.omnovia.com. Additionally, we can provide the omNovia Elite Support program for a fee that provides a technical project manager for your account and in-room technical support.

Do you offer APIs for website/CRM and other integrations?
Yes. omNovia offers a set of different APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). Most of which are very easy to implement. These APIs allow you to integrate login page into your own website (SSO API), integrate events creation / registration within your web site or even import reporting data into your own CRM system. Is there any software to install such as ActiveX or Java?
omNovia Web Conference and StageToWeb use the common Flash Player to deliver their contents. Flash Players are already present on over 99% of computers (PC, Mac) worldwide. As such, your attendees do not need to install any software, Java Applets or Activexes. This makes access to the room a breeze and reduces your support costs as many users might not have the rights to install any software on their computers. One more advantage of not having any software to install is the fact that there is no upgrade to go through either as all our enhancements happen on the server and do not require any software update. Accessing an omNovia room is as simple as accessing a web site.

Presenters who need to show live applications from their desktop (application and desktop sharing) will be asked to install a small Projector.

What if a computer does not have Flash Player?
In that rare case, the omNovia Web Conference login page detects it and offers an easy install of the Flash Player.

How does event registration and reporting work?
omNovia StageToWeb offers a full event registration system with optional credit card processing. It automatically sends reminders and follow-up emails. A comprehensive reporting through the admin page or through API integration with your CRM is available.

How does recording work?
omNovia offers the unique Recast record/replay system that provides interactive replay of the event. As your event is unfolding, StageToWeb server can record the event and make it available immediately upon its termination. A Recast can be replayed for a new group of people at a certain time or be made available on-demand on any web site. Credit Card processing as also optionally provided.

Recast has a pay-per-view pricing model if used on-demand. If Recast is played in group mode for a new audience, a new StageToWeb session is charged.

Do we need to have omNovia on-site support?
No. omNovia can provide on-site support as an option.

Does omNovia provide AV (audio Visual) services? Or can we use our own?
omNovia has a network of high quality AV partners worldwide. We can provide you the service through our experienced partners. However we can also work with your AV company/department.

What is the pricing model?
StageToWeb is usually offered as a one-time event with a one-time fee. In certain cases omNovia can offer packaged and discounted pricing for multiple events or even a monthly subscription fee for recurring live events.

How different is omNovia StageToWeb from the omNovia Web Conference?
They both use the same platform. However the omNovia StageToWeb allows input from professional and high quality cameras and provides a much higher server bandwidth for live and high quality event webcasting.

Do we need an HD Camera to use the StageToWeb HD solution?
No. StageToWeb uses H.264, a codec optimized for HD quality video at low bit rate (required bandwidth). You do not necessarily need an HD quality camera to use this feature. About 60% of StageToWeb webcasts do not use HD Cameras.
