How to accept Microsoft Customer Agreement to prevent account restrictions
By January 21, 2026, customers will need to accept the new Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) to avoid restrictions from performing actions in their Microsoft Partner Center.
Important:
- No further actions needed if you have already accepted the MCA.
- Restrictions will automatically lift once acceptance is confirmed.

Impacted transactions
Below are the restricted actions if you have not accepted the MCA:
- Purchasing new Microsoft products and services
- Adjusting quantities (increase or decrease) of existing subscriptions
- Changing term durations or billing plans
- Upgrading existing subscriptions
Note: These restrictions will be lifted immediately after you accept the MCA.
How to accept the Microsoft Customer Agreement
Follow these steps below to accept the MCA directly.
- Sign in to your Microsoft 365 Admin Center through this link: https://admin.microsoft.com/AdminPortal/Home?ref=/BillingAccounts/agreement
- Log in using admin credentials.
- When prompted, review the MCA.
- Tick the box to accept the agreement.

- View your partner relationships (Optional):
- Go to Settings > Partner relationships.
- View a list of partners you work with and select any partner to see detailed information.
