What is a favicon?
A "favicon," or "favorite icon", is a type of file containing one (or in some cases more) small icons which are associated with a particular website or web pages. Since most favicons are minimal, you'll want to create a separate logo file around 50 by 50 pixels in one of these formats: Portable Network Graphics (PNG), Graphics Interchange Format (GIF), or Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG).

How to add a favicon to your website
Once you have your favicon file, follow these steps to begin adding it to your website:
- Log in to your Account Manager via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login.
- Select Websites on the left menu, and you will be routed to a different tab where you can access your website editor.

Note: Alternatively, if you have multiple website builder accounts, click Launch to proceed. - Launch your website editor by choosing Edit Site.

- From the left-hand menu of your website builder, click the Manage gear icon at the bottom.

- Next, choose Favicon.

- In the new panel, click ADD FAVICON to upload a file from your computer.

- Once the image is loaded, you should see a preview of it in the Favicon menu, where you can press Change or Delete buttons.

- When you are finished and satisfied with the addition, click back into your main design area to continue editing your site.
