Builder Brands: Adding Music

SoundCloud is a widely popular music-sharing platform that enables users to upload, stream, promote, and share audio files.

Whether you have music, eBooks, or online learning files, you can easily upload those to SoundCloud(s) user-friendly platform and link them to your website. Continue reading to find out how to add and link a SoundCloud audio player to your account.

To add music using SoundCloud

  1. Log in to your website builder and select the Elements tab from the left navigation.

  2. Click on Music.

  3. Select SoundCloud Player.

  4. Drag the element into the location you would like the audio player to appear on the page.

  5. The settings pop-up menu will appear once you click on or set the audio player on your page.

Linking to Your SoundCloud

  1. On the settings pop-up, click Track URL, then click on Widget Settings.

  2. Look for and replace the Track URL with your SoundCloud URL.

    Pro Tip: Make sure the URL you are tracking is public. A private URL will not play in the SoundCloud player.
  3. Click Finish to complete the change.

  4. Be sure to Save and Publish to make the changes live.
