Builder brands: Changing section colors

Customizing the look of your website is a great way to make your design feel unique and engaging for your visitors. By selecting a specific area within the builder, you can access style settings that allow you to adjust the background and borders to fit your needs. This gives you the creative freedom to upload new images or change section colors for a single part of the page so you can highlight important content without altering the rest of your layout.

How to change section colors

You can make changes to individual colors of an element or section relative to how you make other changes with the designer:

1. Log in to your account via https://www.networksolutions.com/my-account/login.
2. Click Websites from the left navigation menu.
   
    
   Note: Alternatively, if you have multiple website builder accounts, click Launch to proceed.
3. Click Edit Site.
   
   
    
4. Click on the Section or the background of the section and ensure nothing else is selected. See the red target in the image below. There are no elements here, so clicking here will lead to step 5.
   
   
    
5. Once you click the Section Background, the website builder will display two separate menus:
   
   
    
   • The orange Sections Menu.
   • The Advanced Settings Menu on the right.
      
6. Optional: If the Advanced Settings Menu does not appear, click the Gear icon on the far right of the Sections Menu.
   
   
    
7. Choose Style from the Advanced Settings Menu.
   
   
    
8. In this area, you can then change the Color, Picture, and Border style for just the selected section to your desired look.
